Do you have a leak?

Propane is actually colorless and odorless, but for safety reasons, an odor has been added to propane to help you detect leaks. If you have a smell that smells like rotten eggs or boiling cabbage, you should take the following safety precautions.

A. Do not turn on any lights or use your telephone.
B. Do not strike any matches or turn on a flashlight.
C. Turn off all valves at your propane tank.
D. Contact us right away.

Check your system yearly

If your home has a propane furnace, water heater, range or other conveniences, you should schedule an annual check of your whole propane system, including the appliances.

Your local propane supplier will send a trained service technician to check your system for leaks and ensure it meets all applicable operating standards. The technician will also check your tank, piping, regulators gauges, connectors, valves, vents, thermostats, pilots, burners and appliance controls to make sure they are in good working condition.
